Jeff Barta is seeking re-election to continue serving the people of District 43.

Since being elected in 2022, Jeff has focused on strengthening North Dakota’s economy, supporting local businesses, and investing in the long-term success of our communities.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Industry and Business Committee and contributes to key legislative efforts through his work on the State and Local Government Committee and the Interim Government and Finance Committee.

Jeff has worked to advance property tax relief for homeowners and support common sense health care improvements that make it easier for individuals and families to access care.

A longtime Grand Forks resident, Jeff has called the community home since 1984. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and holds a Master of Business Administration from Troy State University.
